How are you season preparations going?

The pre season preparations are going very well, I am starting to feel comfortable in the car and in the team. My fitness is at the highest level it has ever been so I can not be any more prepared for the new season. I have also been working on speaking some German, so hopefully by the first race I will have some good feedback for the fans in German.

You will share the cockpit with René Rast, a very successful driver, what does this mean for you?

I have not done any testing with Rene yet, but I know he is a very experienced and quick driver. I am very fortunate to be paired with him this season. I think Prosperia C Abt Racing has shown again that in order to win a title you need talent and not just money. This is something that I respect a lot about the team and I  am sure that it will pay off for all 3 cars this season.
How do you rate you title chances in 2014?

Well, I have one of the best GT drivers in the world as my teammate, so I feel confident that we as a team can bring home a lot of good results this year. We have the best car, the best team, and some of the best drivers in the world.

I really look forward to the new season, the long wait is almost over and all the drivers are really excited to start pre season testing next month.

The official pre-season test of the ADAC GT Masters will be held on 8 and 9 April as part of a media day in etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben before the season gets under way on 25 April for the first race weekend also at Oschersleben.
