19 young talented drivers from eleven different countries
There’s a very mixed field of starters in the 2013 season, comprising 19 young and talented drivers from eleven different nations. There are even four drivers from outside of Europe this season, namely Dennis Trebing (USA), Ambalavanar Sandeep Kumar (India) and Jordan Lee Pepper and Kelvin van der Linde (both of South Africa). And then there are two up-and-coming female drivers who will be battling it out for the title: Michelle Gatting (Denmark) and Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky (Sweden). They will all be competing in nine races on five racetracks – all using exactly the same materials, of course, because the Scirocco R-Cup is big on equal opportunities. It all comes down to a driver´s driving skills
